Thanks to the collaboration between Greenchemicals & Polichem, SUPSI University, KraussMaffei Extrusion and the Department of Energy โ€“ Politecnico di Milano, we are proud to announce the fourth edition of the Polymer Additives Academy, dedicated to all professionals and students in the plastics industry. As usual, it will be free of charge.

The response we have received over the previous editions has made one thing clear: there is a large audience interested in going deeper on the topics that shape our industry. That enthusiasm is what drives us to keep investing in this project, year after year.

What’s new in 2026

This edition comes with a few changes, designed to make the Academy more focused and easier to follow.

First, we have moved from four sessions to three, each dedicated to a specific vertical theme. All sessions will take place in the afternoon, making it more practical to attend – whether in person or online – without having to set aside a full day.

Second, and perhaps most importantly, this year we have introduced a scientific committee, which is playing a central role in shaping the agenda and organising the event. The committee is made up of: Micaela Lorenzi, CEO of Greenchemicals; Prof. Andrea Castrovinci and Prof. Fabio Parolini from SUPSI University; Massimo Ricci, Expert Sales Manager at KraussMaffei Extrusion; and Prof. Lidia Castoldi from the Energy Department of Politecnico di Milano.

Third, at the end of each session, there will be a round table, a dedicated moment for Q&A and open discussion with the speakers. Because the best insights often come from the conversation after the presentation.

And to close each session in the right spirit: a happy hour for all attendees. ๐Ÿฅ‚

We are genuinely excited about this edition, and we can’t wait to welcome you.
